Rejoice!
Our 2011-2012 season kicks off with our traditional mid-December Christmas concerts. Rejoice! celebrates the season with a broad mix of music, ranging from Renaissance motets to modern carols, all with a focus on the elements of the classic manger scene. Come experience a unique and joyful performance sure to leave you full of the spirit of the holidays!
Verdi’s Requiem
For our Spring concert, we will be joining forces with Master Chorus Eastside, the Everett Chorale, and the Sammamish Symphony Orchestra for a special Benaroya Hall performance of Verdi’s masterpiece.
In the first half of the concert, each participating ensemble will present its own short program. After a brief intermission, all groups join together with special guest soloists under the baton of SMC’s Artistic Director, Mark Adrian, for this one-day-only production.

Holy Rosary Church

From I-5 Northbound, take Exit 163 (West Seattle Bridge).
From I-5 Southbound, take Exit 163A (West Seattle Bridge).
Take the West Seattle Bridge to the Fauntleroy Way Exit (2.5 miles). Stay on the right lane. Follow uphill to the Oregon Street signal. Turn right. Follow uphill till 42nd Ave. S.W. signal. Turn right.
The church is on the 2nd block on your right. Street parking available.
Trinity Lutheran Church
6215 196th St SW, Lynnwood 98036
From Highway 99: Turn left on 196th St SW (Rte 524). Just past Trader Joe’s, turn right into church parking lot.
From I-5 Southbound: Take Exit 181 and turn right on to 196th St SW (Highway 524). Follow above directions.
From I-5 Northbound: Take Exit 181A and turn left on to 44th Ave W. After about 1 mile, turn left on to 196th St SW (Highway 524). Follow above directions.
Mason United Methodist Church
2710 N Madison St., Tacoma 98407
From I-5 North or South, take exit 132 Hwy 16 / Bremerton. Exit immediately (right on Union).
Drive down Union for 3 miles to 27th. Turn Left. Drive 3 blocks to Proctor.
Proceed one block past stop sign to Madison. Church is kitty corner on right.
Proceed 2/3 block (Monroe) to enter church parking lot. If full, use street parking or use Jr High parking lot.
You may use the circular driveway in front of church to drop off and load.
Benaroya Hall
200 University Street, Seattle 98101
Southbound I-5 Take the Union Street exit (#165B). Continue onto Union Street and proceed approximately five blocks to Second Avenue. Turn left onto Second Avenue. The Benaroya Hall parking garage will be on your immediate left. The garage entrance is on Second Avenue, just south of Union Street.
Northbound I-5 Exit left onto Seneca Street (exit #165). Proceed two blocks and turn right onto Fourth Avenue. Continue two blocks. Turn left onto Union Street. Continue two blocks. Turn left onto Second Avenue. The Benaroya Hall parking garage will be on your immediate left. The garage entrance is on Second Avenue, just south of Union Street.
Northbound I-5 via Westbound I-90 Take the 2C exit for I-5 North. Follow signs for Madison Street/Convention Place and merge right onto Seventh Avenue. Turn left onto Madison Street. Proceed three blocks and turn right onto Fourth Avenue. Continue four blocks. Turn left onto Union Street. Continue two blocks. Turn left onto Second Avenue. The Benaroya Hall parking garage will be on your immediate left. The garage entrance is on Second Avenue, just south of Union Street.
Southbound Highway 99 (Aurora Avenue) Take the Denny Way/Downtown exit. Keep right and cross over Denny Way onto Wall Street. Proceed approximately five blocks and turn left onto Second Avenue. Continue south on Second Avenue approximately eight blocks. The Benaroya Hall parking garage will be on your left. The garage entrance is on Second Avenue, just south of Union Street.
Northbound Highway 99 (Aurora Avenue) Take the Seneca Street exit and move into the left lane. Turn left onto First Avenue and proceed one block. Take the next right (at the Hammering Man sculpture) onto University Street. Continue up the hill two blocks to Third Avenue. Turn left onto Third Avenue, and left again at the next block onto Union Street. Make the next left onto Second Avenue. The Benaroya Hall parking garage will be on your immediate left. The garage entrance is on Second Avenue, just south of Union Street.
