So Fair and Bright

The Sacred Music Chorale kicks off its 15th season with So Fair and Bright, an exciting Christmas program featuring beautiful choral arrangements and rich instrumental accompaniment that is sure to enhance your holidays.

Our program this year opens with a collection of songs to Mary, including Giovanni Pergolesi’s Magnificat, Franz Liszt’s Hymn to the Virgin Mary, and Felix Mendelssohn’s Ave Maria, all backed by a string ensemble.

We then shift gears musically to perform a captivating program of carols that includes new and interesting arrangements of traditional carols paired with a host of original works by noted composers like Alan Bullard and Bob Chilcott.

Come join us for what is sure to be a highlight of your Christmas season!

Rejoice in the Lamb

For our Spring concerts, we take you on a journey across the Atlantic with Rejoice in the Lamb, a concert focusing on the great British composers, past and present.

The centerpieces of our program will be Benjamin Britten’s cantata Rejoice in the Lamb, and George Frideric Handel’s stately Coronation Anthems, featuring the beloved Zadok the Priest. The remainder of the program will offer a broad mix of works by such notable English composers as Byrd, Elgar, Rutter, and others.

Backed by organ and a string ensemble, this will be an amazing concert experience you won’t want to miss!
